Elshaddai is a registered charity working in 7 states in India, running childrens' homes, day care and night shelters for street and slum children, setting up community centers in poor villages and helping the families through education for children, empowerment programs for women, by loaning a goat, giving a dozen chickens for a family, giving a cow, giving pair of piglets, digging bore wells, setting up solar panel lighting and micro finance schemes, setting up slum schools, running non formal schools for dropouts, etc. |
