NeLiCS waes established on the 30th of November 2005 (Wednesday) as a Society of and a Community Based Organization of Recovered Addicts and a Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). The Society is registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860 (ACT NO. XXI of 1860) and as modified by the Societies Registration (Extension to Mizoram) Act, 1976 (Mizoram Act No. III of 1977). Registration No. : S.R./MZ – 14 of 2006-07 on 26th of May, 2006 vides Notification Memo No. B.14016/14/06-RFS. from The Registrar, Firms and Societies, Government of Mizoram.
