NGO Governance and Servant Leadership training @ KKID

We are happy to inform you that we are conducting 3-day training on "NGO Governance and Servant Leadership" scheduled on "15 – 17 May 2018".

Introduction:

With the mushrooming of development organisations, most of which re dysfunctional right from the start, the Government is becoming more concerned about the quality and contribution of such non-profit organisations / NGOs.   The quality and sustainability of these organisations depends on two main factors: Style and Quality of Governance and Management & Ability and Skill of the Leader.

This short course on  ‘NGO Governance and Servant Leadership’  is aimed at capacitating leaders of organisations and projects with skills to manage the organisation and lead a team, fulfilling the purpose of the organisation and doing justice to the donors and the beneficiary community to which it has made its commitments.

This programme will help participants to

  • Re-visit the vision and mission of an NGO vis-à-vis the changing global and local contexts of development cooperation.

  • Address the  structural issues such as accountability, governance and participation.

  • Understand the concept of Servant Leadership - A Paradigm shift Team Management: Leading from the Front.

  • Value and Nurture Human Capital for improved performance in NGOs.

  • Develop and Structure  grant proposals that  match donor requirements & community needs.

  • Use RBM Techniques for impact oriented Project management.
