GOAL
To strengthen the management skills of project heads, together with their understanding of various management theories, thereby leading to more efficient management of NGOs.
OBJECTIVES
1. To enhance project holders’ understanding of current social development models and management principles.
2. To enhance their skills in leadership, decision-making and management of their projects.
3. To equip them with knowledge base on institutional development and familiarize them with the various tools used in institutional development...
4. To enhance project holders’ knowledge of group and organizational processes and their dynamics, enabling them to handle any situation that may crop up in the group or organizational context
5. To prepare the project proposal with the beneficiary.
METHODOLOGY
Based on participatory principles of learning, this programme will use training methods like Group discussions, Assignments, Exercises, Simulations, Role play, Workshops, Dialogue, Behavioral processes and leadership labs to help participants gain insight into management concepts, and practices ,Village visits, Tribal Settlement visits, Rural clinic visits..etc. (Most of the training time will be spent in Tribal and Rural Villages)
BOARDING LODGING
Each of these training courses will be of four days duration, and comprise a maximum of 15 to 20 participants, each of whom will be charged Rs.4000.00(Rupees Four Thousand Only) towards boarding, simple accommodation, tuition and material cost. Registration Fee: Rs. 1000/- ( to be paid earlier –not refundable) balance Rs.3000/- to be paid at the venue, seats are limited, kindly send the registration fee by DD in favor of R.D.Lawrance, payable at Gudalur.
